The call is open to all themes and disciplines, and thus relevant for media and communication scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NordForsk describes the aim of the call to <em>&#8220;to strengthen international competitiveness and facilitate the development of excellent Nordic research environments. The call is initiated to support research-based university cooperation across the Nordic region, to increase researcher mobility, enhance capacity and competence building and thereby the excellence and significance of Nordic research cooperation.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each university consortium which gets granted funding may receive NOK 4 million from NordForsk per year. In return, the university consortiums must provide resources equalling twice the amount of funding sought from NordForsk for themselves.
