Communication Papers: Media Literacy & Gender Studies (ISSN 2014-6752) by the University of Girona is a peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal, published in English, Spanish, and Catalan twice a year. Based on media and communication studies disciplines, the journal focuses on journalism, audiovisual communication, and advertising, with particular emphasis on the issues of gender treatment and media literacy. Communication Papers focuses on publishing articles on mass communication from diverse perspectives. There are no submission and publication charges. Paper types
Studies should be based on original research, discussing and solving the issue related theoretically, methodologically, and/or empirically. The studies should investigate the media/ communication studies concepts and/or media terminology.
