Students and teachers at member institutions of the Nordic Collaboration Committee for Journalism Education can now apply for mobility funding. The deadline is April 1.
Nordic journalism students have a possibility to visit another Nordic country for doing journalistic work included in their studies at their home institution, or attending courses at a university. Since the 1970s, the Nordic collaboration committee for journalism education has formed a network for collaboration and exchange between journalism educators and journalism students. The network includes 22 member institutions.
The collaboration committee coordinates Nordic mobility by granting Nordplus travel grants for journalism students and teachers, as well as organizes the biennial NordJour conference for journalism educators. The next NordJour conference will be hold on September 29-30 in Malmö.
The Nordplus mobility grants are primarily relevant for shorter stays for students (“express mobility”) and for internal mobility between Denmark and Greenland. Nordplus funding is intended for exchanges that cannot be covered by an existing Erasmus+ agreement between universities. If it is possible to make use of the Erasmus programme, the Nordplus support will not be granted.

Students can use two alternative forms of support, for short or long stays:
- Express mobility for reportage trips and (intensive) course visits of 5–30 days

- Accommodation: 20 euros per day, 70 euros per week or 200 euros per month
