From a listing focusing on Nordic scientific journals, we have now extended our journals’ list to include Baltic journals publishing original media and communication research.
Among our resources directed to media researchers, we have a list of journals. Previously, we only included journals with a publication venue in the Nordic countries, but now we extended our scope and included journals from Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia in the list.
The resource now contains 41 journals in total publishing original media and communication research. As earlier, we have categorized journals according to their language of publishing, genres, referencing styles, and collected information on the publisher and publication context, length of articles and the submission guidelines, as well as the journal’s ranking and indexing. You can filter searches according to whether the journal is peer-reviewed or not, and according to the language. You can also write free-text phrases in the search field.
The recently added journals from the Baltic states are the following:
- Baltic Screen Media Review
- Culture Crossroads
- Defence Strategic Communications
- EUREKA: Social and Humanities
- Knygotyra – Book Science
- Proceedings of LAS. Section A: Humanities and Social Sciences
- Social Inquiry Into Well-Being
We intend to include all journals with kinship to media-related research and with a clear focus on media and communication research or its subdiscipline. Are list may, however, not be fully complete yet. Do you know of a Baltic journal concerned with media and communication research missing in the database?
