GPS400 arranges its second international conference at Humanisten, Renströmsgatan 6. The theme is collaborative visual research and the conference takes place within “GPS400: Centre for Collaborative Visual Research”, a six-year-long interdisciplinary research centre initiated by the vice-chancellor at UGOT in April 2019. The entire conference is held in panels according to the following preliminary outline (changes may occur):
Day 1: Local and regional panel discussions in Swedish mapping existing and future competences, collaborations, methods, techniques, and tools within the field of collaborative visual research.
Day 2 and 3: Panel discussions linked either to preliminary themes such as Collaboration – Visual Research – Digital Methods and Tools – Media and Information Literacy – Cultural Heritage – Innovation and Infrastructure – Urbanity and Public Space – Archives – Environment – Migration, or to ongoing and forthcoming projects, programs, courses, and applications within the field of collaborative visual research.
