Welcome to the final event of Road to freedom research project (2021) where we will sum up what we learned. At this event, we will present the final report “Road to freedom: News media breaking free from Silicon Valley’s grip” that we have produced for the Swedish School of Social Sciences at the University of Helsinki. In the report, we present three future scenarios on how the dependency between Silicon Valley tech giants, media and marketing could develop by 2030.
This is a public event. Before attending the event you can access the full final report via our project website: https://blogs.helsinki.fi/road-to-freedom/2022/02/09/final-report/
