The annual meeting of IALJS is an international conference devoted to the scholarly study, teaching, and practice of literary journalism. The deadline for submission of research papers, abstracts, and panel proposals for the conference is early December, and the two-and-a-half day event, open to both faculty and students, is traditionally held in mid-May. In addition, IALJS actively participates in the conferences of a number of other learned societies, sponsoring sessions focusing on related aspects of literary journalism.
