Postdoc in Communication Systems
formally based at the Department of Electrical Engineering
Duties
The Division of Communication Systems conducts research and education in intelligent networked systems, communications engineering for 5G and 6G, statistical signal processing, attacks on machine learning systems, design of wireless communication systems to support distributed learning applications, optimization of signal processing systems for robust and energy efficient implementation, and network science. The successful candidate will work in one of the projects related to these topics.
A Postdoc will essentially carry out research. The position may also involve teaching, but during no more than a fifth of work time.
Qualifications
The applicant must have an outstanding track record of publications in top journals within one or several of the division´s research fields, and demonstrated independence and excellence in research.
The position requires a doctorate or an equivalent degree from a foreign university. The doctorate shall have been obtained no longer than three years before the expiration date of the application.
Appointment time
A Postdoc is appointed until further notice, but for no longer than two years. The appointment can be renewed if there are special reasons.
Starting date
By agreement.
Salary
The University applies individual salary scales adapted to the experience of the employee and to the labour market.
