Andreas Mattsson is a lecturer and program director at the School of Journalism, Department of Communication, Lund University. His research and teaching focus on journalism practice and digital technology, often approached from a comparative international perspective. In 2025, he earned his PhD from the University of Helsinki with the dissertation Remaking the Newsmakers: Exploring Swedish Media Aid Interventions in Vietnamese Journalism.
