About

Currently researching developing trends in Icelandic television drama production. In addition to my academic career, I am also a journalist. Have previously written for The Guardian, Marie Claire, Nordic Noir & Beyond, Radio Times, and Scan Magazine. I have moderated at crime festivals including Deal Noir, Iceland Noir, Lowdham Book Festival, and a UNESCO sponsored event in Reykjavik. In 2017 I was a researcher and on-screen contributor on the Icelandic documentary series Leitin að upprunanum. I have recently written the afterword to the English language translation of Indriði G. Þorsteinsson’s novella Cab 79.
