Book lover; media, law and communication researcher; expert on the media image of Ukrainians in Poland; graduate of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Center of Lithuanian Language and Culture at the University of Wrocław, Poland.

Member of The Polish Communication Association (PTKS) and European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA); participant in the Arqus Mentoring Programme for Early Stage-Researchers; author of more than twenty scientific publications (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Anna-Skibinska-2); participant in dozens of scientific conferences (national and international); her research interests include: migration studies, stereotypes, and media portrayal of minorities.

She is fluent in French, German and English, and as a native Polish speaker, she volunteers at Arqus Language Cafés for Polish language learners. She was a mentor in Arqus Alumni Mentorship Programme (2024/2025 academic year).
