I am a PhD researcher at Tampere University. I am especially involved with radio and audio media - in my PhD project, I map the Nordic public broadcasters´ role in building the future of audio and radio and their strategies for change.
I am interested in how communication policies in the Nordic countries shape the change and if there is still a shared understanding of public service values in the Nordic countries and PSM companies.
Besides my research project, I also work as a publishing executive and team leader for the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle. I have over 10 years of experience in the broadcast media working as a journalist, producer and executive producer on radio, tv and on digital platforms.
