Lecturer and researcher at the School of Communication and Arts at Eduardo Mondlane University, with a PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho. He is a member of The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) in the USA, the Center for African Studies at the University of Porto in Portugal, the Center for Communication and Society Studies at the University of Minho in Portugal, and the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA).
Currently, he is a visiting professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria in Brazil.
