I am a post-doctoral researcher at the the Faculty Information and Communication Sciences at Tampere University. In my doctoral thesis in media studies, I studied the societal significance and nature of anonymously used online discussion forums, and the operational logics of social media platforms.
Currently I'm working in the project "Towards datafied production thinking", which focuses on the agency of data in Finnish film and television productions. The project will produce knowledge about the changing practices of film and television productions in a platform economy. I have also some interests in audience studies and media literacy and media education.
