Frank Ojwang is a doctoral candidate at the University of Lapland, focusing on the communities and changing work, and analyzing reverse gaze approaches for improving the welfare of immigrants from the global south. His dissertation focuses on multidisciplinary approaches to addressing global challenges in the Arctic and Sub Sahara Africa through promotion of the democratization of knowledge for the benefit of the North-South. Frank has worked on various development and research projects in Finland and Africa that focus on welfare of children, women and youth. Frank is a US Professional Fellow.
