Gohar Aznauryan is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse background in communication, public relations, and digital innovation. Currently, she serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at St. John’s University, where she has developed curricula on Media Literacy, Critical Thinking, Transmedia Storytelling, and data-driven decision making in media, engaging approximately 100 students. Previously, she has held positions as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctoral Research Fellow and Research Assistant at St. John’s University, where she supported faculty research activities, organized workshops, and conducted data analysis on media narratives. Her international experience includes internships with the United Nations, the President's Administration of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and UNDP, focusing on public diplomacy and media strategy. Gohar has published works on place branding and public diplomacy and edited studies on digital entrepreneurship. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Multi-Sector Communication, with a dissertation on the influence of sovereign wealth fund narratives on international perceptions of a country image. Her research interests include Public Diplomacy, Country Image, Nation Branding, Media Narratives, and Media Framing, supported by technical skills in R, Python, SPSS, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
