Currently, I am working as an assistant professor at the Centre for Journalism and Mass Communication, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University, Uttarakhand, India. Previously, I served as an assistant professor in the School of Media Studies and Humanities and as the deputy research director of the Research and Development Cell of Social Sciences at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, India, from 2023 to 2024, and at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Manipal University Jaipur, India, from 2022 to 2023. I completed my doctoral studies from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Tezpur University, Assam, India. I completed a project titled 'An Exploratory Study of Contemporary Estonian Animation Films through the Semiotics of Yuri Lotman' at Tallinn University from 2021 to 2022, funded by the Education and Youth Board of the Republic of Estonia under the Academic Studies of Estonian Language and Culture Abroad (E.K.K.A.V.) programme. Additionally, I was a visiting doctoral student at Tallinn University, Estonia, from 2019 to 2021 under the Dora Plus mobility grant, funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
