She is a PhD candidate at Aristotle University and a researcher at the Peace Journalism Laboratory, Department of Journalism and Media, AUTH, in important research projects. Her PhD thesis and writing work is about innovation, new technologies, and their introduction in news organizations. She is a research fellow at the Portulans Institute and has been a fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and other organizations. She holds a master's degree in risk communication and crisis journalism and a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass media from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She speaks English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic and German. Her main research interests are new technologies, innovation in news organizations, and the role of journalists.
