I am currently an Assistant Professor at Iqra University Islamabad overseeing the Media Studies program of the Fashion and Design Department. I carry a vision of theoretical knowledge plus practical skill development to bring out an advanced level of filmmaking and storytelling as well as in the rapidly changing journalism field. Because I am continuously working in the industry, I am able to bring the latest techniques and knowledge required for successful student and professional projects.
I am a creative person and a builder. My research interests include mediated communication, strategic communication, and media's influences on society. My MPhil topic was "Role of Media in the National Security of Pakistan" identifying stakeholders and their methods to influence policy using the Agenda Setting Model.
