I am a researcher at the Tampere Research Centre for Journalism, Media and Communication (COMET), Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, Tampere University, Finland. I am currently working in the project ‘Post-Digital Epistemologies of the Photographic Image’ funded by the Academy of Finland. My research interests include philosophy of photography, the social uses of vernacular photography and the role of visual journalism in opening up possible spheres of social action.
