I am a PhD Research Fellow at Østfold University College, enrolled in the Digitalisation and Society PhD programme.

  • Master's degree in Advanced Journalism and Reporting from Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (2013)
  • Bachelor's degree in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature from the University of Barcelona (including an Erasmus year at the University of Manchester, UK)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Photojournalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2005)
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona (2003)

With professional experience spanning both journalism and UX design, my research interests are focused on topics such as Journalism and the Digital Public Sphere, the Political Economy of Communication, Public Service Media in Europe, the Philosophy of Technology, Decentralised Social Networks, and Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS).

I am currently pursuing my PhD on Decentralised Social Media under the supervision of Professor Lilja Mósesdóttir and Associate Professor Fredrik Andersen.
