Kai Xiang Teo, M.Phil.

My doctoral research examines "open" data in authoritarian contexts as a means of articulating and entrenching authoritarian ways of knowing, and the counterdata practices of civil society groups seeking to correct authoritarian data. Before Stockholm, I completed my master's degree in sociology at the University of Cambridge as a Chevening scholar and my bachelor's degree in political science at Leiden University.
