Kjetil Vaage Øie, Ph.D.

Kjetil Vaage Øie is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Media and Journalism at Volda University College. Øie has authored and co-authored several articles related to mobile media - more specifically locative media and locative journalism, both from the perspective of design, content and use. Other research areas and pedagogical projects include new media, representations of realities and communication -and media design.
