Lasha Kavtaradze is a Ph.D. student at the University of Bergen and Kristiania University College. Kavtaradze holds a master’s degree in Social Sciences (Digital Media and Society) from Uppsala University and has a background in journalism, communications management and media research. Within the scope of the Source Criticism and Mediated Disinformation (SCAM) project, funded by the Norwegian Research Council, he will be studying fact-checking practices in Norwegian media organisations during the 2021 Parliamentary Election.
