I hold a BA in Journalism and Mass communication From the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Kenya, with a double major in Kiswahili studies.
I have more than 5 years of experience in radio, during which-in our university’s community radio, I ascended to the Head of News Department. Additionally, I have worked as a TV Journalist in Nairobi, at TV47-Kenya.
Currently, I am in the final year of my master’s program in Media Productions at Volda University college in Norway. My Current Masters project focuses on Investigative Journalism. I am examining the state of independent investigative Journalism in Kenya, with a comparative study of Norway, known for its press freedom and Russia, Characterized by restricted press freedom. While I have a keen interest in various aspects of Journalism, My primary focus remains on Investigative Journalism.
