I'm Lingyu Li, a third-year PhD student at the University of Amsterdam, media studies department. My research investigates how the evolving media landscape affects Chinese journalists' work experiences, personal lives, and overall well-being. Specifically, it explores the blurred boundaries these professionals encounter daily—between traditional and emerging media roles, journalistic and non-journalistic identities, and the integration of media devices with their physical selves. This study seeks to understand how these intersecting boundaries influence journalists' identities and well-being in the Chinese context.
