I am looking for a PhD position. I have designed an initial proposal with nexus of researching impact of AI in digital communication and social media policies. Methods from qualitative perspective include Social Network Analysis (SNA), Ethnography, Policy Simulation, and Discourse Analysis.
In my Master thesis at Tampere University, which can be found in the publication section of my profile, I explored how social media policies are perceived from the perspective of the mainstream news media platforms of Finland. I have worked as a journalist for 2 years in Bangladesh before receiving Tampere University Scholarship to study Master of Social Sciences in Sustainable Digital Life. During my Bachelor in Television and Film Studies from University of Dhaka, I directed a documentary which explored the revival of an extinct folklore culture of Bangladesh. Link is available in CV.
