De Luis Andrés is a PhD student at the Institute for Comparative Media and Communication Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and a lecturer in Travel Journalism and Visual Reporting at Alpen-Adria University. She holds both a B.A. and an M.A. from Complutense University and has served as a lecturer in Journalism at Burgos University and volunteered at an autism spectrum association. In Denmark, she worked at a højskole, studied Visual Culture at Copenhagen University, and completed a research stay at the H.C. Andersen Research Centre. With extensive experience in cultural journalism, her work has been supported by foundations such as Danske Filminstruktører and Statens Kunstfond. She has collaborated with Mid Sweden University, contributing to the comparison of reporter work conditions in Nordic, French and Spanish contexts. Additionally, she has explored journalism as a catalyst for change in society in two book chapters: "The Challenges of the Digital Society in the Nordic Countries and Spain" (2022, Ed. Fragua) and "Social Communication and Vulnerability" (2024, Ed. Tirant Humanidades).
