About

As a researcher, I focus on the aesthetics of plastic waste, including microplastics and nanoplastics. In the Nordic countries, the efficient waste management system ensures that urban landscapes are designed to minimize the visual presence of plastic waste. However, in contrast, plastic remains a major component of most products on supermarket shelves and in stores. In this regard, I question how much sensory presence plastic waste retains in urban environments.
