My name is Oleksandra Bakun, and I am a researcher and specialist in the field of media and communication. I have been living in Norway since December 2022. My academic journey began with obtaining a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, where I later continued my studies in a PhD program focusing on social communication.
Research Interests
My research interests include:
1. **Media and Political Discourse**: I explore metaphors and rhetorical techniques used in political discourses and their impact on public opinion.
2. **Social Communication**: I analyze the influence of social and ethical categories on the formation of discourse in regional media and the interaction of media with various social groups.
3. **Cross-cultural Communication**: I study intercultural aspects of communication, particularly the influence of cultural differences on media content and its perception.
4. **Digital Marketing and Self-publishing**: I develop and implement digital marketing strategies for authors and provide consultancy on self-publishing and working with digital platforms.
