Sherwin Chua, Ph.D., is a digital journalism scholar who researches the intersection of journalism, media innovation and emerging technologies, particularly the interrelationship between news publishers and digital platforms. His work has been published in international academic journals such as Journalism Studies, Media and Communication, and Online Media and Global Communication. He is also a former journalist and editor, and contributes articles to industry publications such as the Nieman Journalism Lab, World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and International News Media Association (INMA).
