About

I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, Tampere University, Finland. Aiming to create a true ‘museum without walls’, I am exploring virtual spaces, ‘Artivism’, and accessibility of protest spaces. I am also combining different paradigms in design research and dabbling with design anthropology and UX.

Before academia, I worked 20 years with leading Indian media establishments such as Indian Express, Times of India, Asia’s largest circulating newspaper, and Hindustan Times. I have also worked with The Telegraph (Ananda Bazaar Patrika group), media giants of Eastern India, and The Statesman, known as the oldest newspaper in India.

My work has been multi-platform and before I joined the Newspaper industry, I was trying my hands at advertising. During my stint in various media organizations, I have had the opportunity to understand how design differs from page to page and subject to subject and yet is designed in such a way that various tastes blend into a single platter.
