Synne Tollerud Bull, Professor

Synne Tollerud Bull (PhD) is a Professor and Pro-Dean of Research at the School of Arts, Design, and Media, Kristiania University of Applied Sciences. She is an artist and researcher working at the intersection of visual culture, media theory, and emerging imaging technologies such as drones, AI, and digital mapping. Bull is the author of Proxistant Vision (MIT Press, 2025) and part of the artist duo Bull.Miletic, known for internationally exhibited moving image installations. She leads and collaborates on several international research projects related to urban ecologies, media geographies, and the blue humanities.
