Tiina Rautkorpi, Doc.Soc.Sc., is a visiting researcher in Television Studies at Aalto University. Before that, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tampere, planning and conducting the research project Television professionals reflecting on their practices while cooperating with amateur participants (2015–2018). She has extensive experience in adult education, formerly working as a senior lecturer in Radio and Television Studies, and as an Advisor in Research, Development, and Innovation Development Services at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She has also worked as a radio and television documentarian, especially for the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle). She has published her doctoral thesis (2011) and a number of articles on work development and TV journalism.
