The platform offers a searchable and freely accessible database of Nordic and Nordic-oriented media and communication researchers. By creating a profile, you can present yourself and your research and find others who may be doing research in the same field or who may be interesting for you to get in touch with. As a registered user, you also enable others to find you. It may be other researchers, teachers, or students, but also people outside academia, such as journalists and policymakers, who want to get in touch with you as a media expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Our aim is for the platform to solve what many Nordic and Nordic-oriented researchers have long sought, namely to take advantage of the Nordic context and make it more visible, says Nordicom’s director Jonas Ohlsson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the research platform, you can find information about conferences, academic events and vacant positions within the field, as well as submit information to be posted. In addition, the platform will contain news and tips about tools and working methods for skills development aimed at the Nordic media research community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
