Call for Presentation Papers: Children’s Media Conference 2024 – Understanding Kids – Research Strand Call

The *Children’s Media Conference 2024 is delighted to announce this year’s call for presentation papers*The ‘Understanding Kids’ strand of the Children’s Media Conference (CMC) is a crucially important and popular part of this annual event.Delegates to CMC are active children’s media professionals. As such the conference serves as a unique opportunity for researchers to disseminate key findings: offering space for rich practitioner-scholarly dialogue.

The types of presentations that are most successful at CMC tend to be:

● Relevant to the children’s media professional audience.

● Place an emphasis on findings, not methodology.

● Contain fresh insights, relevant to today’s children’s media landscape – and unique angles or research subjects that have not been explored before.

● Highlight trends and trajectory

● Provide a sound basis for market understanding and help delegates better plan for the future, and ultimately achieve their creative and commercial goals.

Research must be relevant to children aged between 0 and 16 years of age. The conference will take place in Sheffield, UK 9th – 11th July 2024.
