Visualize your Science (equiv. 4 ECTS) is tailor-made for PhD-students and postdocs who want to improve their skills in drawing images, making posters, and visually communicating their research more effectively to other researchers as well as a general audience.
The course is 100% online and is offered five times per year. It is an official PhD course at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and SLU Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, but it is open to researchers from any university. Last year, we had more than 70 PhD students from Norwegian universities and hospitals taking the course.
In the course, you will learn to draw in Illustration software and create a graphical abstract of your own research. As a final assignment, you will also create an appealing poster based on graphical design principles without compromising the scientific credibility.
