The Nordic Journalism Studies Seminar Series (NordJourn) – Disinformation, Fact-checking and the Epistemic Challenges of News Journalism

The fifth NordJourn seminar will focus on current Nordic research on the challenging issues surrounding disinformation and the related advancements in verification and fact-checking practices. The keynotes will present results and reflections from two large-scale research projects. 

First presentation:

The Role of Journalistic Fact-Checkers in Constituting Truth Claims: A Rhetorical Perspective Highlighting the Probable, Situated, and Relational.

The NordJourn seminar series welcomes scholars to lectures and conversations focusing on journalism and journalism research. NordJourn seeks to address timely topics and themes, providing a platform for sharing recently published research as well as research projects underway. The NordJourn seminar series is organized in collaboration between four Nordic media departments:
