Arnt Maasø, Ph.D.

Arnt Maasø is Associate Professor of media and communication at the University of Oslo. He is currently researching the impact of streaming, algorithms and music metrics in the music industries in Norway, and is involved in two research projects studying streaming services in music, TV, film, and publishing at the intersection of technology, economy, copyright and use. Before going into academia he worked a few years as a musician, music teacher and composer.
