About

Professor of journalism, Volda University College, Norway.

My research interests have been teaching of journalism (contemporary and historical). My doctoral project (2003) dealt with media concentration in relation to journalism. I'm also concerned with issues regarding media for minority languages - especially in Norway and Poland.

New technologies and solutions for daily newsroom operations such as story-centric newsroom tools.
I also have a soft spot for sports and action photography.
