Are you planning on attending the NordMedia25 Conference and are looking for opportunities to network and share your knowledge in support of our young, emerging scholars? Consider expressing your interest in being a senior discussant for our pre-conference for doctoral students.
The pre-conference will take place on 12 August 2025 in Odense, Denmark, a day before the regular conference starts. The paper discussions will be in the afternoon, scheduled from 12:00–17:00. There will be 30 paper presentations, and topics are wide-reaching within media and communication studies.
Afterwards, a dinner will be arranged for all participating doctoral students and senior discussants.
Senior discussants are expected to give constructive feedback for 1–2 papers, and experts are matched according to the expertise of the discussant. As the matches are dependent on the topics, we cannot guarantee that everyone who expresses their interest will be selected.
