Extended Deadline for the NordMedia Conference

The deadline for the NordMedia 2021 conference call for abstracts has been extended. The new deadline is March 10th.

The biannual conference is planned to take place August 18th–20th 2021 at the University of Iceland in Reykjavik. A pre-conference for PhD students will take place on August the 17th.

In May, before the registration opens, a decision will be taken whether the conference will go virtual or be an onsite event. According to the local conference organizers, a hybrid conference is not being considered at the moment.

The theme of NordMedia21 is Crisis and resilience: Nordic media research on the frontline. The deadline for full papers and extended abstracts will be in June.
