NordMedia25 has received a record number of abstract submissions this year. Following the notification of acceptance, we would like to remind all participants that the deadline for submitting final papers is 16 June.

About NordMedia25
The NordMedia25 conference will take place 13–15 August 2025, with a pre-conference for doctoral students scheduled for 12 August.
Hosted by the Journalism and Media Studies department at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), this year’s conference will also introduce new Temporary Working Groups (TWGs) and Divisions.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Jill Walker Rettberg, Annette Markham, and Kim Christian Schrøder. The conference will open with a dialogue between Rettberg and Markham. Schrøder will conclude the event with the closing keynote.
The registration is now open. Take advantage of early-bird pricing available through 28 June 2025. Standard registration rates will apply from 29 June onward.
