About

I am a post-doctoral fellow at ARENA Centre for European Studies (University of Oslo). My current research investigates role perceptions and problem definitions in the implementation of EU law among representatives of national agencies and courts, with a focus on the Norwegian context, to understand incorporation of EU law in member states. Other research interests include bureaucratic ideals, governance, European integration, migration and integration policy and social policy.

Between 2018-2022, Karin Zelano was the editor of Nordicom Review (together with Johannes Bjerling (scientific editor) and Josefine Bové (managing editor). Nordicom Review is an international peer-reviewed journal that provides a dedicated forum for articles that contribute to a wider understanding of media, mediated communication and journalism in the Nordic region. This includes research on the Nordic countries as well as research with relevance for the Nordic context. Read more about Nordicom Review: https://www.nordicom.gu.se/sv/publikationer/nordicom-review
